Nadia D’Agnone is a landscape architectural designer, researcher, and instructor born in Toronto, Canada. She has an Honours Bachelor’s of Arts in Fine Art and Architecture, a Master’s of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and has just recently completed her Ph.D. doctorate of research in Urbanism at the Universita IUAV di Venezia. Her interests lie in-between the multidisciplinary fields of design, philosophy, art and science. Her PhD research investigates the material, functional, and philosophical relationships between the spatial elements of form in the contemporary urban ground and its deep time geologic development through exploratory mapping and drawing systems of her case study site in Catania, Sicily.
